International Woman´s Day, March the 8th

Today the words spoken are femenin.

It´s the 111th anniversary of the International Women's Day, and Clara Zetkin was the spark that allowed this anual celebration.

In an increasingly digital society, where everything is said and commented behind a screen, with all the information just a click away and countless "truths" , "realities", opinions, agreements and disagreements , some call it evolution, some call it regression.

Race religion and believes, are to each one his own. We can't demand respect if we don't respect others (I strongly advise you to listen to the lyrics of "walk a mile in my shoes" by a gentleman called Elvis)

It shocks me that in the century we live in, segregation still exists, whatever it may be, and it´s still necessary to fight for rights, equality, and life.

I'm a curious person by nature, love to learn about different ways, beliefs and religions, and as a person, I embrace the multiple cultures in this "soup", that makes us all who we are.

The reason that moves me to write in this blog today is the strong believe that the feminine goes beyond clichés, that the feminine is strength, resilience, the right to choose, it is by it self, it is power!

From the suffragism to the feminism movement, the struggle for rights, justice and equality, the most important thing is to celebrate the positive achievements, raising awareness of the injustices and imbalance that we still live in, so that as a society we can grow and consolidate equality in the hearts of each and everyone.

I know this isn't a normal text in a blog that addresses beauty, but just as I follow the moto that health is beauty, health is also mental and physical. And we all know how important the environment that surrounds is to our health, and in turn in something that can be seen as frivolous, beauty.

XOXO
